FAQ’S

Frequently Asked Questions

Why would we pay for this work to be done?
By dealing with the plumbing concerns in each lot of your strata plan you can demonstrate to insurers that you are dealing with the cause of water damage claims. This means that they MAY take a more positive view when deciding if to offer insurance and how much it will cost you. Your insurance broker can explain further.
How much will this cost?
There is no easy way to give you an ‘estimate’ of the cost of remediation for your strata plan, there are too many factors to consider. We will use an experienced assessor to conduct an initial inspection of your building which will allow us to prepare a quote for further works.
How long does this process take?
There are too many factors to give a fair estimate. As soon as we are engaged to assess a plan we will book an inspection. The process begins within days of receiving your request.  From there the timeframes are reliant upon our ability to gain access to each lot within the building.
What is involved?
The first step is an inspection to understand your property. The next step is the analysis and planning required to complete the job. We then book visits by experienced and licensed tradesmen to complete the work. Finally, we prepare and discuss a maintenance plan which is designed specifically for your property and its construction.
What if the tradespeople can’t gain access to all lots?
We assess and price our services based on being able to attend every lot in the plan. We will work with you to offer a reasonable number of alternatives to gain access to all lots.  Our costing does not take into account after hours work or work completed on weekends or public holidays. We will always discuss alternatives with you in order to achieve a positive outcome.
Who does the work?
Your property is attended by experienced inspectors who we engage and train to understand what will be involved. The planning and analysis is done by our builders and tradespeople who have the experience to determine what the most effective solution looks like for your situation.  The work is carried out by qualified, licensed and appropriately insured tradespeople.
